Experimental Ecologies

A two-day event with Natural England and LEAPLab, exploring the wildscape between art, science and belonging at CRASSH, University of Cambridge.

Day 1 research question: What does it mean to belong, to dwell and to make home in a rapidly changing world and what new stories might help us navigate it? We built worlds of belonging and joined them together while still keeping each world distinctive.

Day 2 research question: If the archives we inherit helped shape the world we have arrived at, what do we need to leave behind—and what will we choose to carry forward?

Moving between three University of Cambridge Museums, we followed our curiosity and imagined what else might be possible, finding: something to leave behind, something to take forward and something to bring into being.
